In order to use old mods, I suggest rolling back to the previous non-RT build. I've updated Fluffy Manager to support automatically converting some mods (mods that only affect textures, sound effects, or text will be converted), and some modders are updating their old mods to work the new RT build, but the vast majority of mods will most likely remain incompatible.
